Erenhot is in the Gobi Wasteland, in the Xilinx Gold group of the Inner Mongolia Independent Area. The city was recognized as the only practice business path between Inner and External Mongolia back in the 50's, but the place has been getting worldwide interest since the 21 with the development of prehistoric past in the Erlian Sink.
